CITY OF CALABASAS OWTS OPERATING PERMIT FAQ'S >>
City of Calabasas ordinance 2009-262 provides detailed permitting provisions for the construction of a new Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) and the repair of any failing system. Ordinance 2009-262 also requires City of Calabasas property owners to obtain an OWTS operating permit for all existing systems by May 14th and:
- Inspect their OWTS within two years of the Ordinance
- Submit a site map showing the location of the system
- Comply with the operating permit requirements for City of Calabasas required OWTS maintenance and or repairs
- Renew the operating permit at up to five-year intervals
